Marketing ControlData Deletion & Access Revocation
This page explains how a business or authorized user can revoke HOTTTdesign Marketing Control’s access to Meta business assets and request deletion of eligible Meta Platform Data held by HOTTTdesign.
What this process covers.
This process applies to eligible data HOTTTdesign receives or stores through Meta Platform Products in connection with HOTTTdesign Marketing Control and authorized client advertising-management services.
Advertising data
Authorized ad-account identifiers, campaign, ad set and ad data, delivery information, spend and performance metrics used to provide advertising-management services.
Business & Page context
Business or Page identifiers and related information required to identify and work with Meta assets that a client has authorized HOTTTdesign to access.
Access credentials
Access tokens or other integration credentials under HOTTTdesign’s control are revoked or deleted when no longer required, where technically and contractually applicable.
Three clear steps.
Revoking Meta access and requesting deletion are related but different actions. Revocation stops future access; a deletion request addresses eligible copies already held by HOTTTdesign.
Revoke Meta access
In your Meta Business settings or Business Integrations, remove HOTTTdesign Marketing Control or remove HOTTTdesign’s access to the relevant business assets. Meta’s wording and menu locations may change over time.
Send a deletion request
Email mail@hotttdesign.com with the subject Meta Data Deletion Request. Include your name, business name, contact email and the relevant Business Portfolio, Page or ad-account ID if known.
Verification & processing
HOTTTdesign may verify that the requester is authorized to act for the relevant business or account. Eligible data is then deleted or anonymized as appropriate, subject to applicable legal, security and contractual retention requirements.
Help us locate the right data.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment-card data or other secrets. Only provide the information needed to identify your relationship with HOTTTdesign and the Meta assets involved.
Include
- Your full name and business name
- Email address associated with the HOTTTdesign engagement
- Meta Business Portfolio ID, Page ID or ad-account ID, if known
- Which data or integration you want deleted or disconnected
- Any relevant client/project reference needed to identify the service
Do not include
- Passwords or one-time codes
- Meta access tokens
- Private keys or app secrets
- Payment-card details
- Unrelated personal information
What may remain.
A deletion request does not necessarily require deletion of every business record. HOTTTdesign may retain limited information where retention is required for law, security, accounting, dispute resolution or enforcement of contractual rights.
Eligible API data
Eligible locally stored Meta Platform Data that is no longer required for the authorized service can be deleted or anonymized.
Required records
Contracts, invoices, security records, audit evidence or other records may be retained where applicable law or legitimate legal obligations require it.
Aggregated information
Information that has been irreversibly aggregated or anonymized so it no longer identifies the relevant business, user or Meta asset may not be subject to the same deletion request.
